eBodyGuard Policies

1. My eBodyGuard App and Safety Profile – During a 911 Call/Incident Response:

The Safety Profile in the My eBodyGuard App is a secure space where you can store important personal information. This data, from just the Safety Profile, is shared with law enforcement and first responders only during emergencies to help them assist you effectively for accurate life-saving decisions.

You can include details about:

  • Family Members
  • Pets
  • Vehicles
  • Medical Conditions
  • People You’re Afraid Of or Concerned About
  • Protection Orders
  • Your Current Mental State

If you make a 911 call or emergency response, this Safety Profile information will be sent to the nearest 911 Center to provide first responders with critical data to help in your situation.

2. My eBodyGuard First Responders Portal:

For agencies enrolled in the Smart, Safe Cities: My eBodyGuard Program, the First Responders Portal allows law enforcement to request specific data/evidence through an eBodyGuard automated Search Warrant, including:

  • 911 call audio
  • eBodyCam footage
  • Additional data and documents from 24 hours before and after the 911 call
  • Other related 911 calls

Law enforcement can also make further data requests through the same process.

eBodyGuard will only release information as legally requested.

3. Access to Further Details:

Additional details and data within the eBodyGuard App will only be provided once a court order is issued.

4. Judicial Discovery:

The eBodyGuard eDiscovery process is fully encrypted and follows strict chain-of-custody procedures.

Only authorized individuals have access to case-related information and data.

eBodyGuard is compatible with any system or platform, including various BodyCam vendors, and ensures seamless integration for all states, district attorneys, and law enforcement agencies.
